It is a machine designed to perform the low-temperature superficial bio-decontamination of materials using vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP).

It is used to introduce into sterile areas all those materials that cannot be sterilized in an autoclave, typically: heat sensitive products such as sterile petri-dishes; sterile materials for validation or cleaning activities, such as disinfectants; electronic particle meters; garments, etc. It is also widely use to decontaminate day-to-day production materials that cannot be processed by means of steam sterilization, such us rubber stopper bags and API aluminium containers.

A built-in VPHP generator heats up the hydrogen peroxide, converting it from liquid to vapour. This is then blown into the chamber, creating a lethal environment capable of killing bacteria, viruses and fungi. Each step of the process is fully controlled, guaranteeing perfect performance over time.

The latest Annex 1 no. 5938 dated 22 August 2022 will consider the sole valid method of bio decontamination process a gas or vapour of biocide.
There are many reasons why simple spray o aerosol systems have not become complaint with Annex1. Vapour is indicated for a wide range of microorganisms and guarantees uniform distribution, reaching the most critical areas of the chamber. It can achieve 6-log reduction on all exposed surfaces, avoiding the potential creation of a Biofilm.
An aerosol is a suspension of tiny particles of liquid, solid, or both within a gas. It is not easy to distribute, it generates residues after evaporation, this why the only validated bio decontamination recognized is the VPHP.

Our machine consists of an airtight stainless-steel chamber in which the operator introduces the products to be decontaminated. The components required to control each critical parameter throughout the cycle are all installed in the technical compartment. Our extensive skills and know-how in the manufacturing of machinery ensure the absolute competitiveness of our VPHP Pass Box with regard to initial investment, operating costs and process repeatability.

All our machines can be fully customized to suit the customer’s needs, for example with regard to flexible chamber dimensions, location of the technical compartment, and tailored baskets.
